In A COLLEGE OF MAGICS, Faris Nallaneen became the warden of the north, one of the four people who maintain the magic of the world, and she repaired the world`s magical rift. Now, in this sequel, Faris`s friend Jane Brailsford has gone to Glasscastle, a British university of magic, to persuade the newly designated warden of the west, Nicholas Fell, to take up his role. At Glasscastle, Jane also meets Samuel Lambert, an American sharpshooter taking part in a secret government project.
